On September 25, 2014 at approximately 10:40 pm, four black male suspects armed with automatic firearms attempted to rob a FAMU student at the intersection of Palmetto Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The black male suspects demanded money and property. The victim fled on foot. The victim described the suspects as follows:
- Black male, 5’10”, dark complexion, chin hair, wearing a gray zip up hooded sweatshirt, armed with a silver automatic firearm.
- Black male, 5’7”, brown complexion, dark colored pull over hooded sweatshirt, armed with a black automatic handgun.
- Black male, 5’8” -5’10”
- Black male, 5’8” -5’10”
