The Mission of Big Bend Crime Solvers

Help us identify people who are wanted or if you have seen/heard of a crime.

Big Bend Crime Solvers is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit in good standing with the Florida Secretary of State’s office serving Franklin, Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Taylor, and Wakulla counties. We are managed by a volunteer board of directors. Board responsibilities include paying rewards to individuals who anonymously submit tips with information that helps solve and/or prevents a crime.

Crime Solvers is a means to report crime anonymously and we offer a sizeable reward for doing so. We are uniquely positioned to directly impact the prevention and the reduction of crime. We encourage members of the community to assist law enforcement agencies by overcoming the elements that inhibits community involvement.

  1. Fear of REPRISAL
  2. An attitude of APATHY
  3. Reluctance to get INVOLVED

Crime Solvers is based on the principal that “someone other than the criminal has information that can solve a crime.”

Why Do We Need Crime Solvers?

Crime Solvers serves many purposes within the community. Here are just a few:

  • We can’t put cameras everywhere.  What we do have almost everywhere is people.
  • People need an alternative to provide information on crimes without getting publicly involved. They need the option of remaining anonymous.
  • To lessen the burden of law enforcement agencies in the apprehension of criminals.
  • To promote community welfare & inform/educate the public to further protect them from criminal activity.
  • To motivate the public to cooperate with law enforcement agencies.
  • To help develop a community against crime.

  3. Report crime and encourage others to do so. Call (850) 574-TIPS, use the P3 app or visit us at bbcrimesolvers.org.

Crime Solvers methods, objectives, successes and phone numbers are publicized on a regular basis through broadcast media, radio, social media and any other commercial advertisement.

To strengthen our relationship with the public it is necessary to make a clear distinction between Crime Solvers and law enforcement. Law enforcement is our partner. Their role is to stop crime, our role, as a not-for-profit organization is to help solve crime. Thereby, assisting law enforcement in the fight against crime.

Tipsters are eligible to receive between $500-$5000 rewards for information that prevents a crime from happening or results in an arrest or non-arrest.
