The Florida Highway Patrol is seeking help in locating a vehicle that was involved in a Hit and Run crash that left a pedestrian fatally injured. The crash occurred Monday evening January 6th, around 9:40 PM on HWY 27 at Northmont DR in the southbound lanes, in Tallahassee. The vehicle struck a pedestrian with the front center bumper/grille area and left the scene. The vehicle left behind several chrome pieces of the grille and bumper which identifies it as a 2011 through 2014 silver or gray Chrysler 200 4-door sedan. The vehicle drove into a residential area immediately after the crash and a tall black male driver was seen getting out of the vehicle and looking at the front of the vehicle, then rapidly driving away in reverse. I have attached an example picture of the vehicle and the damaged area of the grill. Along with the known damage, the vehicle may also have damage to the hood and windshield.
