Malique Richardson was visiting his girlfriend at her apartment, 1505 West Tharpe Street, on July 8, 2022 when he answered a knock at the front
door. While he stood at the front door, several shots were fired into the door from the outside
breezeway. Malique retreated further inside the apartment, collapsed, and died of his wounds
